Chop’d launches ‘fully circular’ salad packaging

Faerch UK has supported Chop’d, through Tri-star Packaging, with the launch of its popular salad bowl in a fully circular packaging solution, going into Chop’d London stores in March.


The bowls and lids will be available in APET Evolve by Faerch, packaging made from post-consumer recycled content, that, according to Faerch UK, can be recycled back into food packaging repeatedly.

The Evolve by Faerch concept illustrates circularity, and with its unique look and  communicates directly to consumers that these are products made from recycled content.  The design also serves as an additional reminder to make sure that used trays are sorted correctly, thus promoting circularity. With the bowls varying in  colour, this reflects the recycled material they are made from, and effectively communicates the sustainable nature.
