Making a hardcover gift box using waste drum core

After the barrel of paper is used up, will there be an extra core of the paper barrel? Have you ever thought of turning it into something useful? The New Year is coming. Preparation materials: drum core, wrapping paper, corrugated paper, double-sided tape and glue.

Step <br> a gift box cover:
1) The core of the drum paper is cut into two paper rings as required. Use a paper roll with a small width to make a lid. Seal a cardboard on the bottom, affix a circular decorative paper that is 1 cm larger than the round bottom, and cut the edges into strips.
2) The edge of the paper sticks to the outside of the paper roll.
3) Cut a long strip of paper with the same length as the circumference, and the width is about 3 times the thickness of the roll. After folding the upper edge inwards by 1 cm, it is used to wrap the outside of the roll.
4) In the same way, cut the edges into long strips and apply photo adhesive (multipurpose or double-sided adhesive) on the inner and bottom edges.
5) Pull the edge strip to the bottom flush.
6) Cut out the round decorative paper and paste it on the bottom. The lid is completely packed.

Two gift boxes:

1) Use a wide roll of paper to make the box body, first cover one end, then cut a long paper, and the length of the roll is the same. The width of the paper should be about 2 cm on both sides and the outside of the wrapping paper roll.
2) Cut the 2cm paper on both sides into strips.
3) One end of a strip floats on the bottom of the box.
4) Pull the other end of the strip to the inside of the box.
5) Cut a piece of decorative paper and paste it on the bottom of the box to cover the blank part.
6) The elongate corrugated paper is rolled into a cylinder and placed in a box with a height of about 1.5 cm more than the box body. .
Finally, the gift box cover and the gift box body are combined, and a beautiful and environmentally friendly gift box is completed.
